Home extension in Cubert, Cornwall

We converted this former 3 bedroom bungalow in Cubert, Cornwall into a 4 bedroom house with a study by extending out to the rear of the property, converting the loft space and raising the roof line to create two extra bedrooms an en-suit bathroom. The conversion added significantly to the floor space of the property.

The extension was built giving a large lounge / dining area opening up the ground floor. We also built a porch extension at the front creating a large entrance hall.

We had a temporary scaffold roof erected over the bungalow. This allowed the work to continue in all weathers and the family were resident at all times.

The roof was completely removed, the wall plate height was raised and a new factory built roof system was installed. We were then able to re use the old roof tiles on the new roof.

All of this gave the family the spacious home they wanted.
